Hey there, I’m Heather!

Mind Detective + Strategic Advisor
I help high-achievers create success from the inside-out (that actually feels good). Because life is meant to be lived, not just barely survived.
“How to best describe Heather? Perceptive. No-nonsense. Compassionate. She’ll re-energize you personally and professionally!
I came to Heather feeling stressed and overwhelmed from trying to juggle my current workload with the pressure to build more business. This stress created a vicious cycle of frustration, emotional reactivity and increased stress (which negatively impacted my work relationships). Heather gave me the tools I needed to uncover my stress triggers, take control of my emotional responses and let go of the (mostly self-imposed) pressure I felt.”

You’re a smart, savvy professional who’s followed the rules and checked off all the right boxes. And that’s worked to bring you plenty of success. . . on paper.
The only problem is that you’re struggling to do it all, which has left you feeling:
- mentally depleted,
- physically exhausted,
- utterly unfulfilled.
I get it (I was once there too).
Feeling trapped in a life you’ve worked hard to create (with no clear idea of how to fix things) isn’t just de-motivating, it’s soul-crushing.
When I started my legal career, I was convinced that I’d slay the world! But within a few short years I was close to burnout, with my confidence shaken.
From the outside looking in, I had all the trappings of success (prestigious career, secure job, nice car, beautiful house, amazing husband).
Yet I was bitter about how hard I worked to meet everyone else’s expectations while putting my own priorities aside. And even though being a lawyer had been a dream since childhood, I questioned why I’d ever wanted it.
Because I wasn’t sure what to do and felt trapped by my (admittedly comfortable) lifestyle, I kept pushing ahead hoping that things would change. But they didn’t.
Late one night while driving home from work crying (my go-to form of stress relief), it hit me. . .
The intense stress and anxiety I’d been under for so long was negatively impacting my marriage and changing me into someone I didn’t much like.
It was time to listen to the voice inside my head that kept saying. . .
there had to be more to life than this.
AND SO I REDEFINED SUCCESS
from the inside-out
Fast-forward a couple of years and I was a partner in an international law firm, building a profitable practice (that I eventually got to over $2.5MM). All while. . . strengthening my marriage, staying active in my boys lives, prioritizing self-care (without the guilt!).
And I was proud of my achievements, my decisions and WHO I was.
Calm. Clear. Confident. In Control.
(That’s what inside-out success is all about).
And it’s created by: (1) REWIRING your mind for resilience + growth, (2) RECONNECTING to what gives you purpose, and (3) REALIGNING around your priorities. I created, have used and have perfected this framework over the past 20 years (within my own life, when mentoring fellow attorneys and now with clients).
But don’t let the simplicity fool you because it’s built to empower you to make couragous choices. Choices that make you take a stand for yourself while taking control of your future.
And that help you to become the person. . .
you’re meant to be from deep within
I’ve learned to follow this simple framework and listen to the voice inside my head (the one that speaks truth yet feels uncomfortable). It’s how I turned my legal career around, and what empowered me to start my new business after fighting an aggressive cancer that changed my life (and how I serve people) forever.
And now I’m on a mission to empower high-achievers to redefine what’s possible and achieve success on your own terms so that life (career and all) can be fun again.
“Heather’s in the right business. She’s insightful and astute.
Heather has helped me become more self-aware, to re-frame my thoughts and adjust plans so that I can take the right actions to effectively reach my goals. She’s generally a supporting presence (especially during the COVID-19 pandemic).”
Sabrina McTopy, Partner at Jackson Walker LLP
“Heather understands what I’m trying to say and what I feel.
Before I started working with Heather, I struggled with knowing what my passion in life was and how to live that out each day. I felt unfulfilled and out of balance. Coaching with Heather has helped me to become more aware of what I’m passionate about, what I need, and what I want for my life. I’m learning to be vulnerable, which has been freeing. I now feel grounded and relaxed in my decisions.”
Pamela Pfautsch, Educator
“Heather taught me how to solve even the toughest of problems on my own.
When I first started working with Heather, I had lost the passion and drive I once had for my work. I didn’t perceive that I was living a meaningful life. Coaching with Heather taught me how to ask myself the right questions to go from problem to solution and also gave me the confidence to effectively communicate why I was the best fit for a big promotion at work. I’m now genuinely looking forward to how my future plays out.”
Katherine Reid, Parter at Rochelle McCullough
“Heather has a special talent for making people’s lives better.
She quickly uncovered what was behind my struggles and how to fix them with tangible solutions. Her positive energy is contagious!”
Lorilei Cronin, Corporate Counsel II at Pier One Imports
From high-powered attorney who thought she had it all to career coach on a mission to help fellow high-achievers work smarter, live better.
At the age of 38, I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer (that I wasn’t supposed to beat). And it changed me. . .
It taught me the importance of truly LIVING (because you only get one life). It’s what led me away from practicing law so that I could start a new business dedicated to helping people like you live life to the fullest, without regrets.
Scary? Heck yes!
What holds most people back from truly LIVING is fear. It embeds itself deep inside you, metastasizing into something all-consuming while creating self-doubt.
But fear and self-doubt can be overcome. All it takes is committing to take one single step forward. And then another. And another. That’s what courage is.
After what I’d been through, there was NO WAY I was going to be the girl who let fear and self-doubt get in the way of following her dreams. It was time for me to step up and be the person I hoped my boys would one day become.
As my boys grow older, I want them to know that they have the power to create their own happiness.
Does that mean that things will always go as planned or that success is inevitable? Nope.
But that’s okay because they’ll know who they are, what they want out of life, and how to truly LIVE. . . courageously, content and in control.
And I want that for you too.
You shouldn’t have to just barely survive, or even simply exist. You deserve to LIVE.
But you’ve got to CHOOSE.
“All I have to say is. . . life-changing!
When I first started working with Heather, I was struggling to juggle work and my personal life. I wasn’t just stressed, but felt unmotivated to take action and like I was failing at virtually everything. Heather helped me dig deep and uncover the thoughts behind my struggles (that I didn’t even know I had). She forced me to be honest with myself, which was exactly what I needed to finally move forward.
The best part about coaching with Heather is that I left every session knowing that her process had enabled me to come up with my desired solutions on my own. That’s empowering!”
Amy Lane, Vice President of Marketing at Lantower Luxury Living
“If you’re one who agonizes over the same issues again and again, Heather will put you on a fast-track out of that mindset.
I now know what I want, am confident in my decisions and finally feel content in life. I’ve even increased my opportunities at work while putting in less hours at the office.”
Somer Hayes, Associate at Greenberg Traurig
“Heather has a laser-focused ability to quickly get to the heart of a problem and create a new, simple path forward.
Anyone ready for change and willing to try a new approach would get tremendous, life-changing benefits from working with Heather.”
Miranda H., Senior Managing Director of Wealth Management Firm
“Heather understands the challenges of high-achieving professionals and business owners (both in their careers/business and their personal lives).
Heather is non-judgmental, easy to talk to and puts me at ease. She challenges me to see situations (and my own actions) in new ways so that I can continually improve myself and my results. Coaching with Heather has helped me to stay focused and quickly organize my ideas into actionable plans so that I can effectively accomplish my goals.”
