You Chose To Be A Lawyer To Make An Impact & Build A Good Life.
By society's standards, you're a success. So, why do you often wonder whether it's all been worth it?
→ With no time to work out and zero energy to cook a real meal. And (embarrassingly) you can't even pause to call a plumber about that leaky faucet.
→ Frustrated (and honestly, a bit demoralized) while watching less talented peers pass you up.
→ Worried you can't keep up this pace... How can you possibly get your law practice to the next level when you're stretched so thin?
→ Picking fights with your partner (over small stuff), snapping at your kids (for merely wanting your attention), and beating yourself up for it all later.
→ Overwhelmed by all the things you could be doing to grow your business (which ones are right for you?).
→ Feeling pressured by overdemanding colleagues and clients to take on work that doesn't serve you or your goals.
You're Not Alone
74% of surveyed legal professionals say the profession has negatively impacted their mental health. 50% of surveyed attorneys say they lack a sense of accomplishment.
And 60% of attorneys report feeling overwhelmed or exhausted most of the time.
The good news? You don't have to stay in this place.
Hey there, I'm Heather Moulder.
Just a few years into my legal career, I was there—burned out, exhausted, and questioning everything. After dreaming of being a lawyer since I was 11, I was terrified to admit how I felt.
What would my peers think? Would my family understand?
Then one night, after venting for the millionth time, my husband looked at me and said:
“Heather, you have a choice.”
I went to bed angry. Because let’s be honest, it’s hard to admit that billing 80+ hour weeks and running on fumes is something you helped create.
But the next morning, I woke up ready to face the truth. It was time to redefine success on my terms and then take action to create it. No matter what others thought. Regardless of whether I made mistakes. And caring more about not disappointing myself than others.
The thing I learned:
Real success leaves room for real life and is built from the inside out.
Fast-forward a few years, and I:
- Was an AmLaw 100 Partner (in BigLaw).
- Had built $1MM+ book of business (that later grew into a multi-million-dollar practice).
- Was balancing a thriving legal career and a full personal life (as a mom to two rambunctious boys).
Now?
I help lawyers like you do the same: build a law practice that works for you (not the other way around).
A Success Framework That Isn't About Mere Survival & Respects Your Whole Life
You don’t have to choose between success and sanity. I’m proof of that—and so are my clients. The key? A success formula built around your values, strengths, and vision.
Here’s how we do it:
Rewire Your Brain For Better Habits & Real Confidence
Shift your mindset, break free from limiting beliefs, and build unshakable confidence using evidence-based tools and strategies.
Reconnect To Your Values, Redefine Success
Get clarity around your core values and how to leverage your strengths so that you can know (with confidence) what success means to you.
Realign Your Decision-making (& Life)
Use your values as your guide in your decision-making and start creating the life you actually want to live (practice and all).
The Question You're Asking (That I Get All The Time):
Why did I leave law behind?
Two words: breast cancer.
I was only 38, with two young kids at home - just 2 and 6 years old. The cancer was aggressive, and the prognosis wasn’t good.
Thankfully, I beat the odds.
But cancer changed me. It even redefined one of my core values: service.
At first, I didn’t see it. But over time, I realized my success formula could work for anyone, and I felt called to help attorneys create success on their terms. So, I made the tough decision to trade in my thriving law practice to start this business.
My mission is simple.
Whether you're in private practice or in-house, whether you're trying to get promoted to partnership or have been a partner for years - I’m here to help you advocate for yourself as fiercely as you do for your clients.
Because you shouldn’t have to choose between personal happiness and professional success.

Success Stories
Coaching with Heather is worth it. To make a mindset shift you need someone who is going to challenge your current way of thinking, and Heather does that. She tells the truth even when it’s not what you want to hear.
When I first came to Heather, I was having a hard time juggling work and family commitments while building my practice. My to-do list was overwhelming and I was frustrated that I was living in a way that didn’t match up with what was important to me.
Heather helped me understand that there isn’t a quick time management fix to becoming more balanced, everyone has to make trade-offs (that is life), and it is on me to decide what to prioritize and what to let go of. The key is to be intentional. Coaching with her taught me that priorities change over time and that boundaries are an essential part of prioritizing.
Thanks to our work together, I’m finally going in the direction I want to go.
Heather gave me everything I wanted, and more!
The thing I love most about Heather are her concrete business strategies that keep your values in mind coupled with mindset coaching for effective stress management.
Heather is a gift to the legal profession.
I've been blown away by Heather's insight into her client's personalities and what they need, when. She knows how to challenge me to do more without overwhelm.
For any attorney who wants to increase business while also feeling more confident about running a business and/or leading a team, Heather will get you there.
Thanks to Heather, I am the happiest I have ever been in my legal career.
When I came to Heather, I was looking for an experienced coach and business/operations strategist who could help sharpen my skills and create more structure around my business goals while also coaching me to be my best as a business owner, manager and mother. She checked all the boxes: coach, mother, lawyer who grew her own business, and entrepreneur with an understanding of finance (and law firm finance).
I was initially concerned that coaching would put me into a circle of aimless questions, leaving me to second-guess myself. That's not how it works with Heather. She asks the right questions, listening carefully to responses so as to properly frame the next question in a way that guides you to make your own choices. And then she provides tactile suggestions and advice based on experience.
Knowing I have Heather on my team, I feel safe taking the risks I need to take to grow my business.
Thank you, Heather, for helping me recognize how my mind works inside-out.
Heather helped me assemble the jigsaw puzzle of my thoughts in a way that made sense so that I could put them into practice. She is quite versed in breaking down thought patterns and using great analogies with actual steps to resolve issues.
Thanks to Heather, I discovered that the solutions were already in my mind and have confidence in my ability to run a business.
Tired of feeling like you're all over the place? Work with Heather. Her targeted coaching will help you uncover your answers.
Heather's cut-to-the-chase, no-nonsense approach helped me quickly get to the root of why I was struggling (not just address symptoms) so that I could act on my outside-of-the-box ideas.
I now feel more in control and am doing more of what I love to do (which doesn't even feel like work).
Heather is perfect for working parents struggling to do it all who want tangible solutions for creating a more balanced life. She has a special talent for making people's lives better!
When I first came to Heather, I didn’t know how to say no and my inner voice had become very unkind.
Heather quickly identified the root causes for why I felt so stressed and gave me practical strategies to overcome them. The #1 thing I learned from Heather is how to say no without feeling guilty about it.
I’m now able to carve out time for myself, relax with my family and still work full-time.
Thinking of working with Heather? Do it.
You won't regret it and it's totally worth it. Heather is intentional, laser-focused and nurturing at the same time.
Heather is deeply insightful and empathetic, making her an extremely valuable partner in the process for figuring out your right answers.
Heather helped me to understand that balance is a daily practice, i.e., making real choices daily, weekly, and monthly, not an elusive destination.
Heather found the right calling. I'm sure she was a great attorney but she has a true gift with coaching.
When I came to Heather, I wanted to identify the most effective client development strategies that play to my strengths. Boastful self-promotion and heavy-handed sales tactics are not my style. I was drawn to her experience as a Big Law Partner. She gets the challenges of balancing business development, running a successful practice and maintaining a personal life.
Heather understands that client development is not a one-size-fits-all model. Her highly individualized business development approach delivers. She helped me find, and laser focus on, the business development techniques that play to my strengths and fit my personality.
Thanks to our work together, I increased originations by close to 30% in one year (and continue to grow from there) and am more confident about asking for business.
Heather will get you and your law practice to the next level without losing yourself in the process.
After working with Heather individually and through her mastermind, the results speak for themselves... a more than 20x return on investment.
Heather will push you but in a way that doesn't feel like a drill sergeant. Instead, she motivates you to take small, actionable steps.
Heather gets to know you as a person and lawyer, catering her advice to your interests and strengths.
Heather built a successful practice when she was in private practice. I cannot overstate the value Heather brings because she has done this herself.
Most business development coaches give you a formulaic or generic “plan”. That’s not the case with Heather. She takes the time to learn how you think, your strengths and weaknesses, and what you most need help with so as to tailor her advice to fit you and your needs.
Heather will work with you on mindset as well as the practical. She will dive in deep to help you figure out what you’re feeling and how to channel that energy into positive action. And she will also focus on practical things like how to respond to a request from a potential client or your best networking strategy for a specific event.
